The Monte Carlo 47 was Beneteau's answer to the question of how much boat fits into fifteen metres. The hull is a deep-V planing design by Beneteau Powerboat; the interior is by Pierangelo Andreani, which shows in how the saloon and galley are laid out - generous where it matters, restrained where it does not.
Three cabins and six berths across two bathrooms, with a cockpit and flybridge that give two separate places to sit depending on the hour and the sun.
Twin Volvo Penta D6-435 IPS 600 engines give 870 horsepower in total, a maximum of about thirty-one knots and a comfortable cruise at twenty-four to twenty-six. Roughly 1,500 hours on the clock.
